Hey,

I've got some fine substarte (still gravel but very fine pieces) and I've also got some extra river rock (small pebbles) which one is best for an AFC? I was told long long ago that I should have larger gravel because they can eat the small stuff and it'll kill them... is that true?

I'm using just normal gravel on mine without problems. between the 2 I'd go river rock.

I was told they'll eat it... oh god... mixed messages ahhhh! ok I need someone else to gimme a hand here... large pebbles? Or crushed gravel?

My frog has never eaten any gravel.. They spit it out as soon as they relize what it is. I fear with crushed gravel/sand that they won't expel it all if they accidentally gobble it up while chasing some food,
