Used my brand new PGR1000 to clean my tank today and managed to pump most of the c*** back into the tank. Think that either the filter wasn't fully into position and dirty water seeped under, or something else happened. Had the filter in the second slot - nearest the slide back into the tank, but there is another, tighter slot further back.

Had to do a 50% water change as I could hardly see my fish.

Readings are still fine, but is disaster looming, since I'm ALSO going to have to treat one of my guppies for a baterial infection into the bargain??!

Any advice?

I'm totally stressed out by the way. Poor little blighters...

I just use hand gravel vacs as they don't stir the muck up, just add aloud of filter floss to your filter then remove it in a couple of hours and replace with new again.
