As i had in another thread earlier i said i wanted to plant my 10gal. I was going to be doing it is flourite, but i cant really spend the money on that now.

Is it cool to do it in just regular gravel? I have a really cool gravel picked out i want to use. Its really a really small rounded gravel.

Im sure ive seen some of the planted tanks here with just gravel.

IS there anything i need to add if im not using the flourite or anything?

I plan on using co2 also...

Just add root tabs for any root feeding plants you may have and fertilise the water column for the rest, small gravel is best, but as you probably know gravel isnt ideal so when you have the bucks you will know how to spend it :)

yep i just have gravel in my planted tank. I have sucessfully grown Vallis, Amazon sword and another plant (with not so good lighting as well).

Every water change i add tetra plant florapride as directed on the bottle. Also, i dont vac around the plants.
