Hi,

I have planted some grass like plants uch as Lilaeopsis for use in a small 60 cm tank I am using as a tank for Guppies to give birth in.

Do these plants need to be cut back to encourage growth outwards?

I am aiming for a wide covering of these plants in the tank to give the fry a fighting chance.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Frank

Lilaeopsis species require a lot of light to grow well.

Most livebearer fry tend to make for the surface, you'd probably be better off with a mass of floating hornwort, easier to manage as well.
