Can this type of wood be used in an aquarium?

It's beautifully whorled and colored.

The label dosen't say it is treated with anything.

Yes, but it need a lot of pre soaking, boric acid is a not a bad thing to add while doing this, the lighter colored wood will often rot and it takes sometime before that stops.
Use only the very hard type, there's softer types that you do not wnat to use at all.
