Gourmais Question

What other species of fish go with Gourmais? I have a 46 gallon tank that's almost finished cycling. I'm planning to get female Pearl Gourmais, Dwarf Gourmais and a few Clown Loaches. I would like some kind of fish that's a bit more unusual. Any suggestions?

How about a black ghost fish....since you don't have anything too small in your tank?

Yea BGK are great but get very large my favourites are spiny eels such as the peacock or the fire eel they are nice looking and intresting but fussy eaters

Gouramis get along better with slower moving fish. Fish like tetras and danios tend to scare them. German blue rams or some other variety would be a nice addition to your tank.

How about rainbow fish? Are Angelfish too aggresive for Gourmais? Thanks for all of the suggestions!

Auratus: Is that a Gourmais I see on your pictures at the bottom right? He's beautiful! I love his colors! What kind is he?

We have 2 gouramis in with 2 plecos, 3 bala sharks, 2 pictus and a BGK, and they are doing just fine. The first couple days when we brought them home they were hiding some, but now they are out and about, and quite content.
