I have two kissing gouramis that i got on friday. After initial bullying from a gold gourami, they have now settled really well but have not eaten yet. They have sucked at algae but won't touch the food. I have tried flakes, frozen bloodworm and live daphnia. The attempted the bloodworm but just spat it out and swam off. What shall i try next? Any ideas?
Tanks stats: amm 0 nitrite 0 nitrates 20 temp 26degrees ph about7.5-8(hard to judge, it's a colour scale)
240 litre tank with tankmates of 1 gold and 1 opaline gourami and 2 swordtails and a small plec

I don't know what they eat-I've never had any but give them time. I find when you first bring fish home they will not eat immediately-it's probably due to the stress. But apart from that I'm fresh out of ideas, sorry mate!

Call the shop where you bought them at and ask what they were fed. I know when I bought mine they were only fed blood worms & flake at the store so they weren't too keen on trying anything new. Mine also didn't eat for the first couple of days I owned them. I actually blackened part of the light so it was dimmer and that encouraged them to eat. Hope that helps. :)
