Gouramis are bubble nesters, so if they are guarding a patch of bubbles at the surface there's a posability you have eggs.

Can the fish lay eggs without a male, but i no they won't get fertilised as the male isn't around to do this and blow them into the nest, as my brother inlaw has egg on his glass he says there very small eggs.

I don't really know to much about gourami's tbh but is he sure it isnt another fish?!

Corydoras catfish lay their eggs on the glass. Does your uncle have any of them in his tank?

No corys but i think he has some plecs.

How about snails?

Asked him that last night, no snails and no live plants in the tank, he has tetra's, but i think the ph is 7.5 like mine so i can't understand them laying eggs.
