ok. This has not been my week. last night my cory died. and now my gourami has ich. I moved all the othr fish. I know u think this might be a dumb move but i turned the temperature up so it cant spread to the other fish. I am getting some meds tonight. Whats a good one? I also want to know if i shoulkd move the other fish back or not.

Well I don't know of how much use this'll be to you here but deffinately treat BOTH tanks where you have fish (both the tank you moved the fish to and the tank your gourami is in) with an anti-ich/protozoan med and keep up with the treatment until ALL sign of any ich is gone. Then keep treating for another week to ensure it realy IS gone. Next time, don't move the fish like you did as that realy isn't going to help. Once treatment is complete, you can move them back if you so wish.

the heater in the 10 gallon is malfunctioning so the tank only gets up to 73 degrees max. The other one the temp is uup to 80 so it cant spread. If the fish in my 55 dont have ich wont the meds hurt them?
