Gourami Tankmates?

Hi my fishless cycle is nearly done and i really like the gouramis colours,

Especially the pearls

Tank 125L with tetratec EX1200, sand, and will be planted

which says these are ok, are they any others?
* Mollies
* Swordtails
* Guppies
* Platies
* Tetras

* Rainbowfish
* Barbs
* Loaches
* Plecos
* Scavenger Catfish

that list gives u plenty of options there, the only fish not included in that list are the cichlid groups really. May be ok with a bolivian ram but the list above gives u plenty of choice for a nice community

all of those fishes that are in that list are okay... but maybe you should RETHINK about the Barbs.GOOD LUCK!! post some of your tank pics when it is done.

All those fish are fine BUT not all of them in that tank due to space.

Pearl Gouramis are a nice choice, I'd go with something colourful like 6 Odessa Barbs, 6 Cories or Zebra Loaches and maybe 1 bristlenose pleco.

You could have a trio of golden panchax as top dwellers.

remember guppy and mollies can and will cross breed so wont be able to sell offspring as pure fish
and so do platys with swordtails

also remember they can have 100+ fry every 4 weeks
