Gourami Sick?

I've just bought my tank a week ago...
Cap.: 30 liters
water cond. OK
2 platies swim inthere for a week now and they are doing fine.

yesterday i bought two gouramis (male and female) - femeale is very vital...
My male gourami is being apathic, without apetite, floating all day at the bottom of the tank -today i've noticed a white/pink spot on his head (i took a picture that you could see it yourselves)...


please help

That tank isn't really big enough for platys never mind gouramis as they are both active fish, plus the gouramis are very sensive to water quality, what are yours stats if you no in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph, if the tank has only been set up a week it sounds like it's cycling and gouramis are not a cyling fish.
Plus gouramis are very susceptible to bacteria infections if its a pink spot with a white circling around the edges it sounds like an ulcer.

Also is the spot fluffy as it could be columnaris.
