Hi,

I've had a few opaline gouramis in my tank for months, and they have an amazing and vibrant color. My favorite though, that shines brighter than the rest, is looking different today. His anal fin is slightly rust colored and less blue. Is this normal? I ask because although it looks different, I've seen pics of the gouramis with a light rust tint, so I'm wondering if this just happens with age.

here's a pic to show what I mean

I would put this in the gourami section of the forum.

my red honey gourami changed colors too. i've had her for about 2 months now and when i got her she was really really red, but now she has lightened up a bit and has more whitish silver on her tail and upper back... so it might just be that their colors get more intense or change as they get older. i know my glolite tetras have gotten brighter also. or maybe u feed them well
