where can i find a good affordable protien skimmer inline for a 55 gallon tank? plz help..

I would recommend the corralife skimmer series. You could get away with the 65 but I would try to get the 125 in case you upgrade your tank size in the future. Ebay may be a good source as everything is over priced in Cali.

IMHO - NO

Personally I dont think Prizm's are Very Overrated (By there Manufacturer & no-one Else) & can be noisy

Fine for a 20g but ither than that ........

I have a Prizm on my tank and dont have a problem with it. For 55 gallons it should be fine, but i wouldnt reccomend it for any more than that.
