I'll answer because I will bet everyone else has ignored this sue to the lack of info in the question.

If it is 1 sprig then years. If it is 2 buckets then instantly.

If you want answers you do need to give some detail.

Yes you have a 55 gallon. Yes you have some Glosso. How much Glosso.

Next how much of the substrate does it need to cover?

Finally what system are you running? Non CO2, Low light, CO2, High light, which nutrients are you dosing etc.

If you were a highlight, pressurised CO2, full fert dosing tank then its safe to say you would have a full tank of glosso (depending on it all being prefectly setup) within a couple of months.

If it is a non CO2, low light, no dosing tank then it may take a year or more!!!

The answers can only be given when the detail is supllied in the question.

i dont know what a sprig is, but its a good clump of it i know, its probably 4" across, for how much substrate it needs to cover is pretty much the hole bottom , im running non Co2, low light.

Then you are probs looking at a year or so. May not even be able to get it following the whole floor as it may get a little leggy without CO2.
