got fry

just had a close look on the tank and spotted 2 guppy fry, there so cute and so so small.

they are hiding in the plants at the minute, do you think they are getting enough food as there is allwqays some left overs in the bottom of the plants.

how long untill the fry will grow to a size where i can see them without having to look close and also how long untill they are not on their parents menu?

i think they were born today but to be honest could of been over the weekend.

gonna buy a breeder thing and stick the mum in their for a few day incase she drops any more

Wouldn't bother with the breeder it will stress her, the fry will have plenty of food don't worry, it's on plants and in the gravel, you will notice them easily in about two weeks, i think its been a while since i had fry.

my guppy fry were born sunday evening, and i can spot them now without having to look too, too hard. they are tiny, but i can spot them in the big tank from across the room when they come out of hiding.

today i ran over and snatched another one out and put it into the baby tank before it went into hiding again. i'm up to sixteen now! i'm not sure how many more, if any at all, are still hiding out in the big tank, but i'm still watching for them.

i plan onleaving the fry in the tank and let nature take its course i think

so far i have spotted 7 and one is quite big at 4mm

the mother still has a huge gravid spot too
