Well my boyfriend brought home another oscar on Saturday, which I keep telling him that we cant have 2, but he doesnt listen well. Anyways, he actually did really well. We made sure that Bubba (our current albino oscar at 5 inches) was fed before we put our new one (we named Blade, he is a red oscar) in. They seemed to have paired up almost immediatly. There hasnt been a lick of trouble made by either one, and they just fallow each other around, even with the size comparison. My bf said he tried to get one close to the size of Bubba, but I guess he thought Bubba was smaller cuz the new one is only about 2-3 inches long. We just bought a new 125 gallon tank for all of our fishies, but it looks like just the oscars will be going in there. Any suggestions on what type of filter I should get? I know its got to be a powerful one. We are using the top of the line penguin filter on our 55 gallon, but not sure if that would be suitable in the 125 gallon with 2 oscars. I should get a picture soon hopefully and can show ya guys!

get a good canister filter, you wont be disappointed. i personally like the Rena XP3, and if you buy online you can get a really good deal. I also have a Fluval FX5 canister, and i like that alot too! i would go with at least the rena xp3, and maybe another filter on top of that, you can NEVER over flitrate a tank!

With my big tank (135 US gallons, 112 UK gallons) I have a Fluval FX5, another external runnnig at 1400 lph and we also did have two internals in there. My oscar is 8" and has companions in there. So I'd say an FX5 at least, maybe another external alongside?

Cool, I will have to look those up online then and see what I can get. Thanks for the help
