I've always wanted a red oscar! Right now hes in a 10g by himself, hes only about 2 inches, maybe less. I want him to grow a bit more before he goes into the main 125g tank.

Here he is!

Cute little thing. Be nice to see how its colours change as he grows :) Fairly good pics as well, better than mine normally are. What sort of fish will it be kept with in the 125g?

good choice on waiting to add him as he def would become cannon fodder for the jd and cons. are the cons a breeding pair? i would wait atleast 2 months or until he is 3 to 4 inches before I would add it, and even then, keep a close eye because one of the other cichlids could decide they don't want him around one day. good luck!
