Got A New Halfmoon Male...

His name is Atlas...and we just got him on Friday. weren't even planning on it, but rather were looking for a blue CT female for my girl's tank (which we found!) and then we saw him...and had to have him!

he is currently in my 38G community tank. my 10G betta tank is under ich treatment. as soon as my white plakat male is 100% healed from ich and anything else, then i'm going to switch them around. putting the plakat in the 38G and the HM in the 10g betta tank...that way both males there will be HM and the plakat will be a smaller risk for me in terms of getting the tail messed up, no?

what do you guys think? he's pretty tiny but feisty and just gorgeous. is that coloring that so-called butterfly design? so is he a Butterfly Halfmoon?

Yeah, that's butterfly. Can't tell you if it's a HM or not without a flare photo.

thanks for the confirmation. i'm sure he is HM as i have another confirmed HM...also bought from the same store. It's just difficult to get a good picture of him in this big tank with my crappy camera
