Got A New Betta =)

I got a new betta about a week ago after loosing my 3 year old betta a few months ago. The new guy has been shy, coming around when i'm not near the tank but still hideing from me when i would come to feed. Anyways yesterday I had some fresh peas and after poping them out of the skin I was dropping a piece in the tank and didnt even notice a pair of curious eyes lookin right at me from the front of the tank! Sure enough he's finally figured out I may not be much of a threat after all lol. He was just floating there, eyeballing me, then lookin up, then lookin at me, then lookin up again. I got the hint and gave him some shrimp even though the pea was sitting at the bottom like a big green meal waiting to happen. I let him have his meal and turned to take care of some stuff, 10 minutes later I found the shrimp still floating there and the pea completely gone! Needless to say I think we're gonna get along just fine. I'll upload pics soon too
