Got 3 ottos to replace my CGAeaters

Well, Went to the LFS today,

And saw he had ottos, so got 3 to start with.

And he is also going to order some Crowntails for me, so i can see what his suppliers fish are like. YAY

Congrats on the ottos! I just adore mine. They keep the tank surfaces sparkling clean. Very busy little buggers!

otos are great little fish to have around. too bad that some of them can die rather easily/randomly

Congrats I have 1 Otto Cat and 1 alge eater in the same tank, they love it

I have two ottos in my goldfish tank, they have lots to much on, too much. I still have to clean my ornaments and sides of tank but the ottos love it in the 30 gallon tank so not going to move them to my tropical tank. I have had no problems with their health in any way but you never know, only having him for 5 days, must have been ill when you bought him, you never know. They are pretty hardy algae eaters, i find.

2 of the Ottos are gone.

My Gold Gourami took them, Dad said he saw it chase 1 and went into the cave with it in his mouth.

I don't have gouramis because I was told that they can be aggressive and I guess you have one. Don't take a chance and not get anymore ottos, sorry to hear that your ottos was the gouramis dinner.
