Fish Crazy
I got this African Root Wood on Saturday, put it in HOT water for a few hours, then put it in my tank. No tannins so far, only in that hot cleaning water at the beginning. If root wood doesn't put off tannins, then it was the jati wood that I also bought,
Well, on Sunday night I looked and there was this clear stuff on it, that looked something like clear liquid soap. I took the wood out and wiped it off with a towel, and that got most off. Well, yesterday there was a little bit more.
Anyone know what this is?
