Goofy Tiger barbs

I've got a mini-cycle going on in my tank right now, and one thing I do when in mini-cycles is limit their feedings, just to keep waste to a minimum. Well the other day I introduced two live plants into my tank, and my tiger barbs think they have a non stop food source. I see them over there several times a day having a snack, and tonight I looked on the floor, and well, they definatly are not producing less waste They think they are living at a 24 hour buffett. I guess I don't need to feed peas any more!

lol, that's funny... but arn't they going to kill your plants?

i have no idea about that part. I'm hoping they eventually get used to them being in there, and realize they don't have to pig out while there is food avaliable. Right now the plants are in a different tank, so atleast they are safe for now. I figure if they kill them all, they are back to plastic.
