best place to try is UKAPS forum i had the same problem with some snails recently theres a lot of people on ukaps who trade and sell plants and most of them keep shrimp so wont have been treated with pesticides

wow what a forum! some amazing scapes on there i think i'll learn what i can and go for it in january

i'll prob try both just not so trusting of ebay suppliers now and my lfs never have much and they all look a bit bedraggled

you have to have 25 posts on ukaps before you can use classifieds a few chaps are on here so shop and ask around good luck

hang on a min before we start promoting other forums!!

there's plenty of online places to source decent plants from...I can tell you that many of the places in the far east will use pesticides on plants, but there is many decent shops in the UK that quarantine plants before selling.

Greenmachine is way too overpriced in my opinion.

the quality of plants at TMG are really second to none though.

you really do get what you pay for.

TGM - Expensive, yes. Overpriced, No.

I was really surprised to find out how much Tropica plants actually cost the retailer. They can cost £2.50 for a small pot of the usual (anubias, crypts ect), the shops don't make that much profit from them.

saying that, watching this makes you realise why they are more expensive that rivals
