Hi everyone!

I just joined a few minuets ago!
Right now I have 0 tanks and 0 fish, but I am very interested in getting a tank and starting!
Could someone please give me advice on this tank:

http://denver.craigslist.org/hsh/192605697.html

Does it have all the main things (pumps, filters, etc.) I would need (minus the fish)??? Is it worth that price? If so, what would you value the tank at?
Thanks

Hello and welcome to TFF

Unfortunately, I am unable to answer your query as i am in the UK but i'm sure someone will be along shortly.

Any other questions you may have, don't hesitate to ask as these guys are the bee's knees :)

The price is decent - but it's for a saltwater tank. I've been fishkeeping for two years, and I think I'll need at least another five years with freshwater experiance before I even THINK about saltwater. Just read up on it - it's hard even for an experianced fishkeeper at times.

You really should start with a freshwater tank first, though 220 gallons would be a great starting point because with larger tanks, it's harder to screw up horribly. :good:

Thanks for the replies.
wodesorel I know what you mean! It will be quite the undertaking starting a saltwater tank, but hopefully I can do it!
I should have written in the first post that I have semi-helped my mom (she knows much more about fish than me) for well over 10 years with taking care of a large group of freshwater fish (goldfish :).
I am scared about taking care of coral, however :(

I think I'll just be posting there, instead of in three different places
Thanks
