i'd persoannly go with just the 1 shoal and make it much bigger (20) then a trio of mollies (1male2female) and 5-6 of either the Kullii or Cory as they both need to be in groups

It seems if I go with a Big Shoal like that I wont Be able to Really put anything else in there you said 20+ for a 20 gal?. Will Tetras Flurish in small groups like a DZ. Ive read should be kept in a Min. of 6 But I Dont think thats right seems a litle small so opted for the DZ. is this still to small?

I would, personally, decide between the corydoras and the kuhlis. Both do better in larger groups than 2, and I think that they may have a problem competing for food. In my current tank, which basically just has kuhlis in it, I see some really cool feeding behaviours and the loaches are out and about all the time. However, I used to have a couple corys in my old tank (quite some time ago) along with a few kuhlis, and I almost never saw the kuhlis then.

If you pick corys, you'll probably see them more often and they might be more active in your community tank. But, I'm a little biased towards kuhli loaches and think they are awesome as long as you provide plenty of hiding spots (you actually do see them more often if you provide more cover).
