Good Plants For Bettas?

I am setting up a new 2.5 gallon tank for my female betta. She's a rescue from Walmart and is an AWESOME fish.

I was thinking about getting some Java Moss for her, but what are some other good live plants that my bettas would like.

Also, would it be ok if I had two females in that size of a tank?

generally you want to keep females in groups of 3 or more. 2.5 gal is a little small so i'd keep her alone. java moss, java fern and anubias are all good
