Good Plant Fertaliser?

Can anyone reccomend a good plant fertaliser?

My tank is low tech, no CO2.

Does plant fertaliser affect fish?

Any aquarium plant fertiliser is safe for fish, I use the Kent, but I don’t know much about which are best.
