i borrowed my boyfriends digital camera i wasn't going to let him in the house unless he bought it wtih him

so anyways, enough chitchat where are some pics of my killies...i jus tgot 3 of them a while ago, they are blue panchaxes

I was thinking about getting one female krib my for 46 gallon tank. How are they with livebearers?

pretty much mine live in the 25g with the 3 platties and they do okay. At first the platties had some broken fins, but i think they found a nice compromise now becuase nobody is getting hurt anymroe

the kribs still declare themselves as king and queen of the tank though but they do come up and eat with the others

thanks comet the killies are abosoutely lovely! except i notice this dot thing on one of their mouths today

i think it might be fungas or cottonmouth. i dont' think it's ick as it's only on the mouth and only on that one fish. I have added a bit of salt (sparingly for the cories) and melafix should see how that works out tmr

lol no, rest assured, i did post the right picture

the male has a very pointy dorsal fin, and his "redness" is most concentrated in his face/mouth , while the females dorsal is much more rounded, and her redness is very concentrated on her belly she is also shorter and whider tahn the while

thanks for the compliments guys the tanks are nothing too special ) but it's the best i can do, not a very good aquascaper here )

anywyas, the killies are hilarious to feed. I use teweezers to feed them bloodworms, and i can tell they want it very very very much, but theyr'e afraid of the tweezers (and me), so they'd hide behind the rocks, and then after 5 seconds, suddenly DASH out, grab at my tweezers until all the worms fall off, zip around and eat all they can and then retreat back to their caves it is absoultel hilarious watching them eat i suppose it'll take them another week or so before they get use to the feedings and all that

Next time your at your lfs, buy a portion of live black or bloodworms.

They go into a frenzy.

i have a total of 6 krib fry (i had a lot more, but i dont' know what hapepned to them ) i'm letting the parents raise thsi batch just for the expierence

unfournatel i can't get a hold of any live food cultures here

killies are great i would definteily recommend them to anyone who can get a hold of some
