Hey, I currently have a 2.85G Tank which has 3 plants, elodea and two others i dont know the name of lol, the tanks a little rectangular one housing Alphie, is there any good lighting to get for little tanks? Also looking for something cheap!
Thanks in advance! :D

you might be able to get one at your lfs for a few quid they have some at my lfs for about £8
:D

you might have lots of algae problems with that much light over only 3gallons

natural daylight is fine for plants, you can mount one of those led push lights over it quite easily

Ah right! I might see about one of those LED wire ones that you attach to a tank lid?

no, an osram dot it (google it) theyre available at wilkos and the like
I havent seen them before, i have a marina spot light that loooks light it has as much light as them, not much. My marina spot light isnt very good even though its not broken or anything.

I rate the Arc Pod as a decent clip-on light. It's done well for my plants and is easy to take on and off. It's not super cheap, but defintitely worth the investment over other, cheaper clip ons. Got a cheap clip on from Hong Kong and it's rubbish, lol.
