I have a cory that swims back and forth through the air stone bubbles. Now he seems to have told his mate about it, because another cory has joined him, they swim together, it's almost as if he's invited a friend to join the game.

Anybody else experience strange things like this?

I have a bubble curtain that is about half the length of our 5ft tank. Loads of my fish love it! Some of my cory's like it but mostly my rummy nose tetras and gouramis like it best and spend a fair bit of time swimming through it. When we have to turn it off they all look a little disappointed! The platies like to chase each other through it as well and it seems to act as a good hiding place if my RTBS gets too boistrous.

One of my plecs seems to like it too and sometimes lays on the tubing. His colours really brighten up whilst he's on it. Must be like a little bubble massage - fish jacuzzi kind of thing

Perhaps we should think a little more about what we provide for our fish, they already have the pool, jacuzzi, perhaps they are trying to tell us something. lol

LOL

I've often thought about trying a hoop that's half in/half out of the water to see if any fish would swim through it. My bet would be platies as they seem to be the most adventurous!

Or perhaps a water slide!

My pearscale (died a while ago sadly - he was lovely) absolutely adored the bubbles in my tank. He would swim in there, and then sort of "hovver", looking directly forward, his fins going like mad, and he looked as though he was about to explode with the effort! So funny, and it looked highly uncomfortable, but he kept going back for more!
