This is what I have in my 30 gal as of now:

7 neons
1 opaline gourami
1 dalmation molly
2 blue rams
1 glass catfish (getting 2 more tomorrow, his buddies died and the LPS hasn't had any in for awhile)
1 female betta
1 bumblebee catfish

What do you think about these fish? My tank is fairly big and they have a lot of open room to swim. I have two fake plants in the left corner with a log/cave infront of it. Then in the right corner there is one live plant with a rock with holes in it for hiding. Then there is a very small plant in the middle.

Am I okay with these fish? They seem to be doing very well in my tank. =) I hope I am doing okay. :dunno:

i think theres plenty of room for that many fish and perhaps room for a few more(take a look at my signature i have a 29 gal and i dont think its crouded)

I think I will just stick to that. I don't want my fish to grow and then have no room for them at all. I'd rather have less fish and more greenery. :p I love live plants! I can't wait until mine grown big enough so I can clip it and make some floating plants. :D

I would say it will be. You have 2 clown loaches in a 29gal tank....do you realise they grow to 12 inches long!! Yes, this takes time but still.

Also, what plecos do you have?

But end...... Your tank atm looks fine. It is far better to keep it understocked than overstocked and risking problems.

Good luck with your plants. I am turning my 30gal into a planted tank soon and can't wait (I still gotta get the lights)

I saw these small plants that kind of look like grass? I wanted to cover my tank bottom with it to make it look more like grass, but my LPS doesn't sell them. The only place I saw it was online and they cost an arm and a leg for shipping. :hyper: So does anyone know what they are called or where I can get some for fairly cheap?

My boyfriend likes eels as well...we tried a peacock eel but that was when we had a 10 gal. I feel bad because we have to return the blue botia back to the LPS since he is so aggressive and I promised I'd buy him any fish that he liked (that would go good in our tank) and since he likes eels, does anyone suggest any for a 30 gal? I know some like to burrow and dig so that would be a problem with all the plants I plan to put in there. :sly:
