Hello. I have several guppies in my 3 gallon tank and am looking for a good quality filter that DON't SUCK them.. I have a small filter but it causes way too many ripples in the water. I want a filter that don't disturb the guppies too much.

Most of my fish are around one inch long. Again, the tank I store them in is about 3 gallons. However, I can probably use a 5 gallon filter for them if 3 gallon ones are not available for a particular brand.

Thanks in advance.

hi,
i think the best filter for your needs in a tank as small as 10L is a box bubble filter. have you seen them they are a small plastic box with either sponges or filter wool or both or may be ceramic pipes to help weigh them down. an air line is then fed in through the top with an air stone attached to the end inside the filter. the other end attaches to an air pump. i have these in my breeding tanks so they dont (often) suck up the fry
