Well i am going on vacation next week to Puerto Rico and i am wondering if there are any good aquariums over there. If there are any which ones would they be. I do not know anything about Puerto Rico really. I do know they have a zoo with a part of it having fishes. Besides that i know nothing. If i can find a very good LFS they have that would be great. Hope someone can help me find one.

well i was born there and all my family lives there, but as far as i know the only fish my parents ever caught were from the ocean :/ and it consisted of the usual carribean fish. i can email some cousins of mine if there are any around but they wouldnt be where you are going (i expect the tourist area as they are locals)

if you have time consider going to the caves, El Yunque, El Morro, Old San Juan, and i forget somwhere thers a Ziplining place as well as a biolumenscent lake to go kayaking to. i know too much

O thanks. I am staying at Bayamon with my GF which is really close to San Juan. She told me shes taking me to el yunque and mayaguez zoo. Besides that i want to go to at least some LFS.

then i cant do too much then as my family is in San Juan :/ if you want theressport fishing like tarpon and hammer heads

But i can refer you to el morro, its a really old fort and a gigantic field backs it, we love to buy the really cheapy cheapy chiringas that the vendors sell and see who can get theirs the highest (i usually win with about 10-12 rolls of 100 ft string LOL) if people get it that high they tend to cut the string, which isnt too good for the enviroment, but noone wants to spend 2 hours reeling it in

also go to old San Juan my great great grandma was born their, not to mention the church, you can see some famous dead guy preserved, you can see the actual teeth thruogh the wax f you look close enough.
