I just went to the lfs today to pick up my goldrim tang. Right now I have it on the drip. When i release him into the tank I will post some pictures. I absoloutley love tangs and when i saw this one my heart skipped a beat. Came back the next day after doing some research and I bought him. I will keep you posted on his status. My tank is a 175g reef. soon to be 300g.

I am so excited 45 mins to go then i put him in. He still looks healthy and is still swimming around the bag. And sometime he nips at the bag kinda funny looking.

Just added my pep shrimps and it was quite funny watching my clown chase them away when they got close to his anemone. He seems to trust my regal tang near it tho. They have been tank mates for a quite awhile tho.

15mins till i put him in and he is still swimming and nibbling on the bag. He really is a beautiful fish. I will post pics when he is added.

Total drip time 1hr 23mins. He is in the tank and activaly swimming around and not hiding in a corner even my clown likes him. He isn't even chasing him away when he gets near his anemone =) I plan to try and feed him in 2hrs i will keep you posted.

Just wondering if you mean a white cheek tang (Acanthurus nigricans), or powder brown tang(Acanthurus japonicus)?
From what I've read, the name Goldrim Tang is used for both fish. I have also read that the white cheek tang is a lot like an achilles tang in behavior, survivability, and natural habitat. Which makes Powder brown tangs more aquarium suitable. I think th ats unfortunate, because I think that whitecheek tangs are much nicer looking. Anyway, sorry for my small rant. :D I'll be waiting for pictures.
