Goldfish

My girlfriend has a tank over my house, growing some goldfish over so they become bigger, then she will be putting them into her garden pond.

Well 3 have 3 in there, She makes sure all of them get a right amount of food, and cleans the filter once a week, and does 15% water changes once a week. 1 was from a unwanted tank and the other was shop brought. The 1 from the unwanted pound seems to be swimming find, doral find down but apart from that eating and swimming showing friendly character. The little shop brought one is the same doral down but eating and swimming fine, just like a normal goldfish would. Im a little worried about the doral being down on them though. The larger shop brought one has been acting a little strange, He has all fins down and doesnt seem to be swimming or coming up for food. He just seems to be at bottom in a coconut shell and breathing quite heavy. I have had a look at him, and there doesnt seem to be any signs on his body or slimmy layer either, he looks healthy, eyes are the right colour, skin is normal, there is a red patch on his tail which usualy means fish lice, but cannot find any on his fins or body... What else could this be ?

have you tested the water? what size tank are the 3 goldfish in. do a BIG waterchange and then several smaller ones for the next week (small changes once a day) see if you notic improvement.
streaking in the fins can be a lot of things, from normal blood flow (if the fish has recently been zooming around-vessels will dilate and be easier to see) to bacterial infection. is the fish eating? hiding and panting is generally not a good sign.
start with the waterchange regime for a few days and see if it helps.
