Hey.. my friend just went to feed his fish, when he noticed one of a my goldfish has a kind of bloody tinge at its gills and some of its fins.. also, the fin on its underside are clamped to the body.. so he called me.. but i dont knwo what it could be :Sanyone know what this is, and what he could do? he doesnt have any test kits either, the goldfish is my favourite of all he has.. and i dont want it to die..

Thanks in advance

it could be that there is too much acidic water in the tank, or that the tank is cyling , do a water change and see how it helps...

Sounds like septiceamia, either due to high ammonia, nitrites or a bacteria.
Need to know more about the set up.

I agree with black angel, need stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph, if fins are clamped a sigh of stress so i would preform an immediate water change.
How many gallons or litres is the tank, how many fish and which kind.
If he dosn't have a test kit do you have one so you can test his water.
