Goldfish Not Looking Good :s

Hey.. my friend just went to feed his fish, when he noticed one of a my goldfish has a kind of bloody tinge at its gills and some of its fins.. also, the fin on its underside are clamped to the body.. so he called me.. but i dont knwo what it could be anyone know what this is, and what he could do? he doesnt have any test kits either, the goldfish is my favourite of all he has.. and i dont want it to die..

it could be that there is too much acidic water in the tank, or that the tank is cyling , do a water change and see how it helps...

Sounds like septiceamia, either due to high ammonia, nitrites or a bacteria.
Need to know more about the set up.

I agree with black angel, need stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate, and ph, if fins are clamped a sigh of stress so i would preform an immediate water change.
How many gallons or litres is the tank, how many fish and which kind.
If he dosn't have a test kit do you have one so you can test his water.
