How much current do fancy goldfish enjoy? If it's less than what a standard side-mount filter puts out, how do you lessen it? Thanks!

Most filters now days can have the flow turned down, normally they will come with a knob.

I have heard that Goldfish like lower levels of current, but it really shouldn't matter too much.
