Thanks to those people who helped we to work out the differences between male and female rams... I see there has been lots of discussion about this on the forum
I went to the lfs at the w/e and a bought a male to go with my female and I found it a lot easier to pick out a male this time. I reckon buying them slightly older/ larger makes it a lot easier too...
It was mad that as soon as I put the male in the tank, the female's colours got so much brighter...
