Golden Gourami with something on side?

Hi,

I noticed about a month ago that my gourami has something on the side of its body.
I cant tell whether its a missing scale but its a creamy colour scar on the side.
anyone know what could this possibly be?.
i have had this fish for almost two years and it has never gotten sick...
