Golden Bogwood

Hey everyone, i recently bought bogwood off of reptile wholesalers called "golden bogwood". It was considerably cheaper than buying bogwood from an aquatics store. It looks the same but a bit dirty and i have soaked it for a week. I just wondered if anyone has used it before or if its safe. im just assuming its safe to use. thanks
