Hey all,
I dont visit this section often since I usually keep only the simplest live plants. I was recently at my lfs in the plant section when I saw a large 12 inch Gold ribbon plant that looked in excellent condition. However, after some research on the web one source stated that this is usually sold for aquariums but never lasts long....Did I purchase an awful plant? If not, is this a very difficult plant to sustain? I do not use c02 as I said I only use java moss and java ferns and other simple plants, do ineed to? Thank you.

Dracena are non-aquatic, so long term they tend to die off, makes no difference what you add to the water I would think.

Thats what I thought after I got home. I love how they package it with a fish on the front and it says for the aquarium. Oh well, shame on me for not doing the research beforehand. Thanks for the reply.
