What size is your tank? if its below a 55G than yes, two male rams will fight alot. Anything below 55G i would say a ratio of 1 male to 2 females would be good. In a 55G you coul have two pairs of rams. If they are both males then your gonna want to take the one back as they will squabble over teritory
Thanks for the replies,
its a 180 litre tank (about 48 us gall) there is plenty of bogwood and hidy places and we will get some taller plants to make a screen to make a divider, what if we get a couple of definite females? or should we not.

The two males each pair with one of the females and no more agression occurs
The two males both fight over the same female, kill her trying to get her to pair with them, and then kill eachother eventually fighting over the other female
No pairs but just more rams to cause agression
I see the last one more likely to happen as it hard to just buy two fish and assume they are gonna pair. Next likely will be the second. Just like always happens with people and animals alike, theres always one that stands out and everybody wants that one. The first is a long shot but hey, you never know, weirder things have happened
I would just recommend that if you want a pair, then take these guys back to the lfs, and if the lfs has a good number of them, buy 5 or 6. Watch them for a week or so and if you see two of the fish pairing then return the other 3 or 4 and you will prob have a mating pair, although it is not guaranteed.
