Ok, i Bought him about a week ago an i haven't seen him eat any bloodworm or algae wafers i drop in but he does seem to be sucking algae off the leaves etc. Will he start to feed once he's cleaned the tank up or do i need to worry?

Put the wafers in just before you go to bed and he will eat them. When they aren't so shy the gold nugget will eat in front of you in the day. Took mine about a month to start eating in front of me.
