Gold nugget looks pale......something wrong?

Anyone have experience with a gold nugget pleco changing colors? or looking pale. Ours is somewhat pale, but his light apparently due to storm has been off for 3 days while we were away. Filtration was fine as was heater and auto feeder. I've had experience with bettas, neons, and other fish paling their color when they are not exposed to good lighting for a period of time, but this is our first Gold Nugget and our first experience with this. Water quality is perfect btw.

Could just be the lack of light, perhaps he's used to it and this threw off his day/night cycles. Keep an eye on him and make sure he's eating and has a nice round belly. How long have you had him?

Hey Wuv, he seems otherwise healthy, still eating and swimming around behaving as he should be. His color is just off. Not really pale I suppose, but he seems like his black is turning yellow. I think it is due to the light but we will keep an eye on him.
