Gold Gourami - Oh Dear!

Right, so today I went to the garden centre for some more stock and asked for 6 Cardinal Tetras and 2 HONEY Gouramis. The woman working there asked how big my tank is, to which I replied 125 litres and then went to the GOLD Gourami tank and started filling the bag and what not. So I told the woman, "no I want Honey Gouramis, which are just over there..." to which she moved 'over there' to another tank with GOLD Gouramis where I just said "No, they're too big."

You can guess what happened next, she got me some smaller GOLD Gouramis. At this point I simply gave in and bought the Gold Gouramis which are now in my 125L tank. I understand they are going to get too big and I will have to sell them on. So watch this space for me begging to get rid of them

I actually don't know, I feel like a bit of an idiot to be honest. I was with my mum though who kind of made it a bit more difficult as she was just going along with the woman. Really annoyed with the woman and myself.

For the time being they don't actually seem too big. But I will have bags and rubber bands to hand for sure!

Hmm, yeahh I suppose. I'm just acclimating them at the minute, I'll try to pluck up the courage to ask my LFS later in the week...

Hmmm, they're only about 2 inches at the moment. Maybe I should keep them for a while?
