Gold Balloon Rams

Does anyone know what the max size will be for Balloon Rams. I saw these at Word of Water and they were stunning, so had to get a Pair. They are Currently in a 2G cube for observation + Quarantine and changing over to the food I Use. ATM they are less than 1cm in size.

Yeah I realise they are bred for deformity of being Short Body. I had tried to keep them before, but the normal rams decimated them within an hour acclimization. This time they will be on their own with suitable tankmates. Thanks for the info

So Far So Good, they spent most of yesterday and the morning on opposite sides of the tank, but the wife says they have been swimming around together exploring this afternoon. The Male's Dorsal is coloring up nicely. And the female's belly is goinf pink again
