Gold Angle Ram

alright my mother the other day bought a gold angle ram but it looks really short and seems really small and i was wondering if it was a hybrid or not ill try to get a pic of mine but it probly wont happen any input?

no its kinda hard to explain the store said it was a gold angle ram and it kind looks like a parrot cichlid to me but its body seems really short compaired to my other 2 rams and im not sure if its because its young or what?

If it's a dark browny colour,small and looks like a parrot cichlid it is one

nope it has the head of a ram and is a dul yellow but hes round bout the size of a quarter my mom has started calling him pudge

Is he a gold version of one of those poor 'baloon' rams?
Maybe he even has long fins, hence the 'angel' in his name.
Or are you sure that it was called 'angel'?
Does he look like the fish below?

yup thats him alright so whats the deal with them? i havnt heard of them befor

The deal with him is that he is an inbred variety of an already relativity sensitive fish.

He has been specifically bred to look like that in Asia. It is common for these types to have big health problems

So look after the fish very well, and don't be surprised if it doesn't work out .
