Going to the pet store what should I get?

5 tiger barbs
2 Gold gourami


What else should I put in?
Danios, rosey barbs, more gourami, more tiger barbs, red tailed shark, etc...
any suggestion?

I would add a couple more tiger barbs.......they seem happier in larger schools

If u add danios you will have a very active tank.

A rainbow shark would also be cool.

You could get a big school of tetras(rummynose, neons, bloodfins,emperor...etc..)I currently purchase 6 rummys and 7 neons and they look really cool shoaling together....

I'd suggest only getting a few now and then planning out what you really want. A better idea would be to fully plan out what you want in the tank. I.e. bottom feeders, plants, shrimp, decorations, etc.
