Going From Daylight To Cool White - Good For Plants?

hi all,
 
One of my tubes is about done for and I have just ordered some cool white.
 
My mate had some fitted to his tank but now i have a worry......
 
He didnt have plants in his tank,, im have plants in my tank
 
 
Will the plants still grow??? the wattage is the same.

Yes, Cool white will just be daylight lights. They'll be fine with plants.
