I am going away on Saturday morning and will not be back until Monday afternoon, will my fish and shrimp be ok without being feed for that long?

I have the following:
3 neon tetra
1 Mickey mouse platy
1 danio
2 Guppy
3 Algee shrimp
4 cherry shrimp
I have 2 live plants and lots of moss.

Thanks

yes, just feed them before you go and again when you come back

absolutely fine, most fish can go for weeks without food. A lot of aquarists have starve days where they intentionaly don't feed there fish for a day or two, apparently it has benefits but i'll be damned if i know what they are, i recently had a fungus out break that was the result of over feeding so i stopped for three days and then fed quarter amounts for 2 days after that and the fish were perfectly fine. Its much more important to make sure you do a water change before you go.

They'll be absolutely fine. When we go up to my parents Friday to Monday or Tuesday I always leave them without food. Those weekend blocks are a waste of money anyway. Does fish, and your tank, good to miss a few days' feeding!

Yes as said your fish will be fine without food.

Also as was mentioned, make sure you do a water change before you go, this will help ensure you dont have any problems with your water stats whilst your away.
